February is filled with music at Barnes & Noble. The very popular Any Wednesday series celebrating cabaret and theater music continues; plus newly created a jazz series on Monday nights, entitled Cool Mondays, will featuring the best in jazz instrumentalists and vocalists. Each musical program is about a half hour, and followed by an autograph/meet-and-greet session with the featured artist.

Barnes & Noble also offers other events related to music or theater!

All the events below take place at the Lincoln Triangle Barnes & Nobel at 1972 Broadway (at W.66th St.) in the 3rd floor events space. Wednesday February 6 at 6PM: Jenna Esposito
Join us to discover why there is so much buzz about this delightful young cabaret singer as she performs selections from her new CD, "13 Men… and Me!"

Wednesday February 13 at 6PM: Barbara Rosene
This charming cabaret star loves to discover rare and lost songs of the 20s, 30s, and 40s, and bring them to life, as she does on her new recording, "It Was Only a Sunshower."

Wednesday February 20 at 6PM: Barbara Brussell and Tom Andersen
These two very unique and moving cabaret performers join forces to share some of their favorite songs from their varied recordings this evening.

Monday February 11 at 6PM: "Chembo" Corniel
Latin Jazz Quintet Drummer "Chembo" and his hot band will get you moving with his exciting rhythms, and his sensitive interpretations of original pieces and standards.

Monday February 25 at 6PM: Linda Ciofalo
The swinging jazz vocalist Linda Ciofalo will delight you with selections expressing many moods of romance, Sun Set.

Monday February 4 at 7:30PM: Gone Missing
The cast and creators of this fascinating off-Broadway show about lost objects and missed chances will share songs from the cast recording and discuss the development of the musical.

Sunday February 10 at 2-5PM: Contemporary Folk Music Festival
Three singer/songwriters offer their original compositions dealing with romance, politics and bookstores: Ritt Henn, Jan Horvath and Phoebe Kreutz.

Tuesday February 12 at 6PM: A Tribute to Nancy LaMott
Celebrating the life and career of this much missed cabaret star will be her friends Lucie Arnaz, David Friedman, Kathie Lee Gifford, Christopher Marlowe and other guests

Sunday February 24 at 3PM: Meira Warshauer
The modern classical composer will discuss her new work, Streams in the Desert, and present selections from the piece based on Biblical themes and passages.

Tuesday February 26 at 7PM: Charles Busch
The playwright and film maker provides commentary on the making of two of his films Die, Mommie, Die! and Psycho Beach Party. He will be joined by the delightful actress, Julie Halston.

Thursday February 28 at 7PM: David Yazbeck
The contemporary singer/songwriter will perform selections from his brand new album: "Evil Monkey Man."
