The New York Post reports that Barbra Streisand will headline an LGBT-focused New York fundraiser for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on September 9th. The event will be held at Cipriani Wall Street.

Tickets for the event, titled "LGBT for Hillary" start at $1,200 and will go as high as $250,000 per person. Those who pay in the latter range will participate in a meet-and-greet and photo op with the candidate. According to reports, tickets priced at $1,200 were sold out as of yesterday. The fundraising event will benefit the Hillary Victory Fund, and will be distributed to Hillary for America, the Democratic National Committee and state parties.

Streisand has been very vocal in her strong support for Hillary Clinton. She has also lashed out at Republican candidate Donald Trump, calling his candidacy "at once terrifying and a joke that isn't funny."

The Grammy-winner's new album "ENCORE: Movie Partners Sing Broadway" drops August 26th. The star is currently on a nine-city tour, performing her hits from each decade plus songs from her new album.
