BWW interviews: Tim Maddren of the ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW Aussie Tour

Tim Maddren currently starring as Brad in the Australian tour of the Rocky Horror Picture Show took some time out to have a chat to Broadway World about the show, his role and it's upcoming opening in Melbourne on April 26. "

"This show has the most wonderful cast and vibe of any show I've been part of" Maddren explains. "It's a combination of both the show and it's strong audience involvement and also the energy of he cast and how we all work together."

Maddren has been used to far harsher critics in the past, forming part of the massively popular children's group Hi5. "The kids are brutally honest, you know straight away how you're going...it's instant feedback."

And while Rocky Horror is most likely to draw a far more 'matured' crowd Maddren also explains that their audiences are full of patrons who know the show so well that expectations are similarly high. Maddren says that while he and his fellow cast members have had wonderful audiences around Australia, they cannot wait to get to Melbourne and settle in for an extended run at the Comedy Theatre, a venue he says is perfect for style of the musical.

One thing is for certain, Melbourne is definitely ready to do the Time Warp Again with Maddren and his fellow cast members!
