It's Tonys season! The 2014 Tony Awards will broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, on CBS, on Sunday, June 8th 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. The ceremony is still weeks away, and in the meantime, BroadwayWorld wants you to get to know this year's nominees. Richard Ridge was thrilled to speak with nearly all of them at the official Tonys Meet & Greet on April 30, 2014, and we will be bringing you special coverage on all of them leading up to the big night.

Today we continue our Tonys coverage with Beowulf Boritt and Dan Moses Schreier, nominees for Best Best Scenic Design of a Play and Best Sound Design of a Play for Act One. Check out what they had to say below!

Act One, James Lapine's new play from the classic autobiography by Moss Hart, deemed one of the finest books about 20th-century American theater, eloquently chronicles the playwright/director's impoverished childhood and his determined struggle to escape poverty and forge a career in the theater. A path which led to his collaboration with George S. Kaufman and their first great success, Once In a Lifetime. The company of twenty-two actors plays roles with Tony Shalhoub, Santino Fontana and Matthew Schechter playing Moss Hart at different stages of his life. ANDREA MARTIN play's Moss' Aunt Kate, among other roles.
