Scott Pask is the 2011 recipient of the Tony Award for Best Scenic Design of a Musical for The Book of Mormon. Broadway Beat's Richie Ridge spoke with the Broadway vet immediately following his acceptance. Click below to hear what the award means to him!

Already a two-time Tony winner, Pask has designed sets for dozens of Broadway shows including Hair, The House of Blue Leaves, Mrs. Warren's Profession, Promises, Promises, A Behanding in Spokane, A Steady Rain, 9 to 5, Speed-the-Plow, Cry Baby, November, Sweet Charity, The Wedding Singer, The Pillowman, The Coast of Utopia, Nine, Cabaret and more.

The Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards are bestowed annually on theatre professionals for distinguished achievement. The Tony is one of the most coveted awards in the entertainment industry and the annual telecast is considered one of the most prestigious programs on television. The 2011 Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

Marking 65 years of excellence on Broadway, The Tony Awards were broadcast live from the Beacon Theatre.
