An amazing fundraising auction occurred at If/Then over the weekend when Idina Menzel offered audience members the chance to join her in singing "Let It Go" from the Oscar winning animated film FROZEN on-stage at the Richard Rodgers theatre, raising $4,800 for BC/EFA. Watch the performance in full below!

Idina and the cast of If/Then joined the auction winners on stage, along with the stage managers, Marco Paguia and the If/Then orchestra and the If/Then crew and front of house staff.

Collections for Gypsy of the Year will take place at Broadway, off-Broadway and national touring productions across the country from until December 7, 2014. After performances, cast members and volunteers will be holding Broadway Cares' signature red buckets, collecting donations to help support for AIDS and family service organizations in all 50 states.

Broadway's best and brightest will then celebrate their efforts with join for two rousing, emotional and heart-pounding editions of the 26h Annual Gypsy of the Year Competition on Monday, December 8 and Tuesday, December 9 at Broadway's New York City's New Amsterdam Theatre.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is one of the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations. By drawing upon the talents, resources and generosity of the American theatre community, since 1988 BC/EFA has raised more than $250 million for essential services for people with AIDS and other critical illnesses across the United States. Broadway Cares awards annual grants to more than 450 AIDS and family service organizations nationwide and is the major supporter of the social service programs at The Actors Fund, including the HIV/AIDS Initiative, the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative and the Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic.

Menzel's highly-anticipated Christmas album, titled 'Holiday Wishes,' is now available on Warner Bros. Records. The album was produced by Grammy Award-winner Walter Afanasieff (Barbra Streisand,Celine Dion, Mariah Carey) and features such classic favorites as "A Holly Jolly Christmas" and "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," as well asJoni Mitchell's Christmas-themed "River," one of Menzel's favorites.

Menzel rose to prominence when she originated the role of 'Maureen' in the hit Broadway musical RENT, a role which she reprised for the 2005 feature film adaptation of the musical. She received a Tony Award nomination in 1996 for her portrayal. In 2004, she won the Tony Award for Best LeadingActress in a Musical for originating the role of 'Elphaba' in the blockbuster Broadway musical WICKED. Menzel made her return to Broadway in the 2014 musicalIf/Then and was nominated for a 2014 Tony Award for her performance. Menzel is also known for her recurring role of 'Shelby Corcoran' on the musical comedy-drama television series GLEE, her part in the 2007 Disney movie ENCHANTED and as THE VOICE of 'Elsa' in the Disney animated film FROZEN, which is the highest-grossing animated film of all time, and in which she sang the Academy Award-winning song "Let It Go."
