Thorpedo Productions is back! Some of Chicago's best improvisers who will collaborate on "Build-A-Tale," a family-friendly improvised show performing the last Saturday of the month at 3 pm from June 28 through August 30, 2014. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at gorillatango.com/bucktown or by calling 773-598-4549. All performances take place at Gorilla Tango Bucktown, 1919 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60647.

Audience suggestions will help create character attributes, storylines, and more in this never-the-same-twice production that helps teach audiences about setting goals, overcoming obstacles, establishing friendships, and being unique individuals. Following the 35-minute improvised tale, kids will have the opportunity to participate in fun, easy improv games alongside the cast.

"Allowing kids to participate in this hands-on jam portion of the show helps them grasp the concepts and themes of the performance they just saw in an unforgettable way," says Thorpedo Productions producer and "Build-A-Tale" creator Andrew Thorp. "And, parents laughing at their children's improvised choices is an added benefit to the performance."

Thorpedo Productions has created improv, sketch, and theatrical works throughout Chicagoland for over 6 years. They have performed at the Second City Training Center's Donny's Skybox and de Maat Theaters, The Annoyance Theater, Silvie's, Studio BE, Stage 773, and more. Creator Andrew Thorp teaches kids at The Chicago History Museum, The Second City Training Center, and with Chicago Cares.
