After presenting Mercadante’s I due Figaro on the 2012 season and Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro in 2013, the Teatro Colón completes Beaumarchais’ saga with the very beginning of one of the most renowned comic stories in the musical theater. Rossini and his barber’s spark will shine through this hilarious plot under the direction of choreographer Mauricio Wainrot—a man who can handle the stage
like only a few can, and will venture into the genre for the first time.
