The Glitter & Doom Salon - the show that Edinborough audiences called "The hot, slightly androgynous, dark and intensely alluring new kid on the block when it comes to cabaret" - touches down its smoky wings at the Adelaide Fringe Festival on the stage of Gluttony's premiere feature AFF venue, the Spiegel Zelt, Friday 17 - Sunday 19 February. One of the oldest speigeltents in the world, it is the perfect backdrop of mirrors, oak, staiNed Glass and velvet to envelop audiences in a dark and enticing world of enigmatic performances.

Equal parts glamorous cabaret, immersive art, debauched dive bar and raucous Tom Waits tribute, The Glitter & Doom Salon is a live show like no other. Hosted by performer/broadcaster Jennifer Kingwell, the Salon stars a handpicked cast of the finest national and international cabaret, burlesque, comedy and sideshow artists at their most glittering, doom-inspired best. Titillating and bewitching performers include Reuben Kaye - "the evil lovechild of Liza Minnelli and Jim Carrey", Miss Maple Rose - the Queen of cheeky vintage burlesque, Lisa Lottie - electrifying circus minx, Laurie Black - cabaret rock comedy diva, The Birdman - a new wave vaudevillian, and Gaff-e - the mind-altering musical psychedelic butterfly.

This intoxicating alternative variety night brings together the subversive opulence of cabaret and the surreal carnivalesque world of Tom Waits. A place to see and be seen. A place to dieand be reborn.

But be forewarned, the piano has been drinking indeed....
