Set for its world premiere at the 2015 Adelaide Fringe, FEAR & DELIGHT by Strut & Fret invites audiences to indulge in a sexy, interactive feast of theatre and food - think Willy Wonka meets Heston Blumenthal in a burlesque bar and you're getting close.

A unique dining experience, theatre show and nightclub all in one, FEAR & DELIGHT offers three ticket levels to cater to every appetite: THE COMPLETE EXPERIENCE, THE SHOW and THE DEVIL'S LIGHTHOUSE.

In THE COMPLETE EXPERIENCE, audiences are taken on a decadent gastronomic and theatrical escapade in which groundbreaking performance is matched with edible treats.

Meeting in a secluded corner of the Garden of Unearthly Delights, guests start their adventure with a mysterious journey through the trees to Strut & Fret's purpose-built outdoor dining room, where they will enjoy cutting-edge cocktails by celebrated UK jelly artists and immersive flavour experience designers Bompas and Parr and a designer menu by internationally renowned Netherlands food architects The Dutch Food Slingers (Didier Prince and Roy Wiggers - the chefs behind 2014 Garden food hit "Pigs on Fire"), aided by a slew of local food gurus including Adelaide's own The Happy Motel.

Restricted to just 100 people per night, this ultra exclusive VIP dinner under the stars will surprise and challenge culinary connoisseurs with inventive dishes that aren't quite what they seem, turning food into the fantastical.

The dining table then magically transforms into a stage, giving guests front row seats for THE SHOW, featuring an international cast of elite performers including renowned dancer Anne-Caroline Boidin (France), aerialists Nick Beyeler (Switzerland) and Saulo Sarmiento (Spain - "La Soiree", "7 Fingers"), acrobatic trio 15ft6 (The Netherlands) and clown Spencer Novich (USA - Cirque du Soleil, "Spiegelworld").

Matched musically by electro-swing duo The Correspondents (UK), ex-Adelaide vocal powerhouse Simone Page Jones and drummer Holly Madge (UK - Cee Lo Green, Robyn, Duran Duran), this will be one adrenalin-inducing journey of music and spectacle.

Guests are then whisked away to the after party at THE DEVIL'S LIGHTHOUSE, a plank by plank reconstruction of an authentic American deep south gospel church tucked away in the trees. With a line-up of exceptional DJs and bands and a specially curated cocktail list by Bompas and Parr, this late night cathedral of hedonism will be the place to party at the Adelaide Fringe.

Tickets for FEAR & DELIGHT - THE COMPLETE EXPERIENCE are on sale now for $150 per person. Tickets are also available for THE SHOW, including entry to THE DEVIL'S LIGHTHOUSE, and also for THE DEVIL'S LIGHTHOUSE as a standalone event.

Having premiered his first Adelaide Fringe show in 2000, Director Scott Maidment said he wanted to do something extra special for his 15th year at the festival.

"This time I wanted to make something that was more than just a show. I wanted to take audiences out of theatres and tents and celebrate mad March nights in all their glory with amazing performances, amazing food and a great party," he said.

"We know what an amazing food culture South Australia has, and we wanted to tap into that with 'Fear & Delight' and give local audiences something they've hopefully never experienced before.

"'Fear & Delight' isn't just a show, it's a wild culinary and theatrical ride."

All tickets to FEAR AND DELIGHT are now on sale via Fringetix at www.adelaidefringe.com.au or phone 1300 621 255.
