RUMORS Opens at Wichita Community Theatre, 6/3

Wichita Community Theatre is proud to present its next production: RUMORS by Neil Simon. Previously announced for April 15 - May 1, this production now runs June 3 – June 19, Thursday through Saturday at 8PM.

RUMORS is directed by Mary Lou Phipps-Winfrey, assistant directed by Kevin Sowers, and features Kathleen Barbara, Michael Criss, Stephanie Dennis, Gary L. Foiles, Kerry Lynn Friesen, Corky Harding, Crystal Meek, Kenneth J. Mitchell, Chelsea Lewis, and Shawn A. Sturdevant. Tickets are $12, or $10 for military/seniors/students. At a large, tastefully appointed Sneden's Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce. Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken and wife Chris must get "the story" straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and mis-communications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity. RUMORS is produced with special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. and contains adult language.
