J. Mehr Kaur is a director and producer for theatre, film & new media, whose work has been seen across the U.S. and internationally. Recent credits include AN INTERVENTION a play by Mike Bartlett (Hudson Guild) KULTAR'S MIME a physical-theatre piece written in verse, which toured to six countries (NCPA Mumbai, British & Scottish Houses of Parliament) and EMRAA a short doc film about the experiences of Muslim-American women. Up next she'll direct the comedic short “I’m Dead Right?” executive produced by D’Lo. Mehr is a graduate of the Peter Stark Producing Program at the USC School of Cinematic Arts (MFA) and Smith College (BA), a Williamstown Theatre Festival Directing Corps member, Manhattan Theatre Club Directing Fellow, Colt Coeur Resident Artist and the recipient of the The Samuel A. Eliot, Jr./Julia Heflin Award for Distinguished Directing and a Fulbright-Nehru Directing Grant.
