I said a while back there was talks of Dr. Dolittle - This has now been confirmed With Tommy Steele As The Doctor from August, still no venues been released yet. Also Bill Kenwright has got the rights for a tour of Evita after a second attempt.

I'm not sure what is more fear inducing - Tommy Steele in Dr. Dolittle or Jenny Seagrove in Evita....

I think Jenny Seagrove would be an excellent Dr. Dolittle, and Mr Steel would be an excellent pensioner sitting at home smoking a pipe with a dog across his slippers.

Yes and it would be prefable if the dog sat across his slippers was a rabid, aggresive and rather hungry Rottweiler....

Oh dear Lord- Bill Kenwright's got his hands on Evita. Is anyone else quivering with fear! The man cannot produce for toffee!

On the flip side- Mary Poppins and Avenue Q should be good!

Is Mary Poppins still the same as it was when it opened? I've seen clips from the Broadway production of Jolly Holiday and am sceptical. It seems more whimsical and less dark than it originally was. Are all the songs still in it? I saw it in London and was amazed. It is a really enjoyable show and bar not having Uncle Albert and I Love to Laugh, I feel it is better than the movie! can't wait

I hope Avenue Q isnt touring, I think its too new to play outside of london yet. Plus if it will need to play at small venues, any of the major ones it will just get lost in.

Dr Dolittle, urgh god I hated that show, one of the few shows I was bored by

Sounds too horrible for words. Perhaps Darren Day as Che?

and the blonde one from Hearsay as Evita! Please don't say things like that they are probably true.

If she wasn't so tightly packed into her grave Eva Peron would be spinning in it I'm sure!
