When were you happiest?

When I received the phone call from my agent telling me I had got the part of Cosette in Les Miserables.

What is your greatest fear?
Being buried alive, I'm really claustrophobic!

What is your earliest memory?
At Chessington Zoo (as it was then) aged 4.

What would be your fancy dress costume of choice?
Well, my mum dressed me up as an anchor once for a nautical-themed party aged 5. That was a great costume!

Which living person do you most admire, and why?
My mum, for her general selflessness.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
I'm easily embarrassed.

Property aside, what's the most expensive thing you've bought?
My Mazda MX5 I share with my boyfriend.

What is your most treasured possession?
My soft toy gorilla Lotty.

Where would you like to live?
By the seaside.

What makes you unhappy?
Every time I bump into something and get yet another bruise #clumsy

What do you most dislike about your appearance?
Like many women I'm not massively keen on my thighs!

What is your guiltiest pleasure?
Gossip Girl.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
"Quite."

What is the best job you've done?
Aside from the big ones, I had an absolute blast on 'The Kissing Dance' at Jermyn Street and made some great friends.

Cat or dog?
Cat although I've never had a pet :(

Who is your best friend in theatre?
To avoid having to pick one best friend I will have to choose my fiance Martin Neely as he's in theatre!

Which living person do you most despise?
Ooh, that's quite harsh.. I don't despise anyone but not massively keen on several dictators and, well, Rupert Murdoch, of course, Jeremy Hunt...Margaret Thatcher for ruining our industry!

If you could edit your past, what would you change?
I definitely wouldn't have gone out with a certain boy naming no names!

When did you last cry?
Watching Parade at Southwark Playhouse last week, during "All The Wasted Time" tears were rolling down my face.

What single thing would improve the quality of your life?
Cheaper rail travel.

Where would you most like to be right now?
I've had a long day of rehearsals today so at home with my feet up!

Tell us a secret.
The Belle's Stratagem is my first professional play!
