As a Halloween treat, 20 pupils from Kentish Town Primary School, Camden have been transformed into flesh-eating zombies on stage in the West End, where they performed Michael Jackson's iconic dance moves alongside THRILLER LIVE star David Jordan to an audience of parents and carers. The children, many of whom are from disadvantaged backgrounds or have physical disabilities and autism, are supported by Variety, the Children's Charity, which provides positive experiences for sick, disabled or disadvantaged children and young people.

Alongside 'Michael Jackson', played by David Jordan, the dance workshop was led by THRILLER LIVE cast members Stefan Sinclair and Lauren Gore. Professional stage cosmetics company Charles Fox provided the make-up to complete the children's transformation into the ghouls and the undead from the show.

David Jordan said of the event, "The Thriller dance was ground-breaking and everyone has, at some point, tried to impersonate the Michael Jackson moves. It's been fantastic to be able to share our skills with the children and give them the opportunity to experience the magic of transformation on Halloween."

Variety, the Children's Charity, has supported the children of Kentish Town Primary School for 15 years. The school caters for 252 children between the ages of 3 and 11 years from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Trevor Green, Variety's Chief Barker said, "Variety ensures that children can interact with the world around them and experience a fun, entertaining and educational environment. For some children and young people, there are few chances to discover what fun the world can be and how many possibilities it can offer, so it's fantastic to see the children of Kentish Town Primary celebrate Halloween in true 'Thriller' style."

To date, Variety, the Children's Charity, has provided more than 600,000 children throughout the country with unforgettable days out. In partnership with many visitor attractions, companies and private supporters, alongside the support of volunteers, Variety, The Children's Charity, is able to provide special days out for children and young people at Variety's partner schools and community groups.
