OUR CITY, YOUR BALLET: Birmingham Royal Ballet to Launch City-Wide Photo Campaign

Local photographer and Canon Ambassador Clive Booth captures BRB dancers across Birmingham for the initiative.

By:

Birmingham Royal Ballet has released a new collection of images titled OUR CITY, YOUR BALLET, featuring members of the company photographed in locations throughout Birmingham by local photographer and Canon Ambassador Clive Booth.

The images will be displayed across the city in the coming weeks as the company highlights its connection to Birmingham and encourages new audiences to engage with its work. More information is available at Birmingham Royal Ballet - Our City, Your Ballet.

Originally established in Birmingham in 1990 by founding director laureate Peter Wright, the company relocated from London after previously operating as Sadler’s Wells Royal Ballet. Since then, Birmingham Royal Ballet has toured internationally while maintaining its home base adjacent to Birmingham Hippodrome.

The company’s repertoire includes productions ranging from classical ballets such as SWAN LAKE to contemporary works including BLACK SABBATH – THE BALLET.

The company will also present 20TH-CENTURY MASTERPIECES, a triple bill featuring works from the last century, on June 19 and 20, 2026.
