I haven't been able to see as many of the nominated shows as I would have liked to over the last year - but I have strong opinions on the ones that I have seen!

At the risk of becoming predictable, Wicked is my clear winner for the audience award. They have been through quite a tough year with cast sickness but have really pulled it out of the bag with excellent understudies and new leads stepping in.

I saw Memphis shortly after it opened in the West End and I can't remember the last time I was so blown away by a musical. I can't think of another show that deserves "Best New Musical" as much as Memphis. I'd also love to see it win Outstanding Achievement in Music along with Killian Donnelly winning Best Actor.

Another new musical that I loved was Beautiful. While I loved the show as a whole, it was Katie Brayben especially that really made it stand out and I would be thrilled to see her take Best Actress in this month's Olivier Awards.

Finally, my pick for Best Revival has to go to Miss Saigon. I never saw the show first time around and was thrilled when it announced its return to the West End. The musical has proved to be such a huge hit with audiences (and also swept the BroadwayWorld awards) I'm confident it will win in this category.
