Nicole Scherzinger is best known as the lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls who's 2005 debut album PCD went double-platinum in America and sold over nine million copies worldwide with several Top-10 hits songs including Don't Cha, Buttons and Stickwitu. Following the success of PCD, Nicole recorded a series of duets and guest vocal appearances with artists such as P.Diddy, 50 Cent, Timbaland, Vittorio and several others. She also appeared as Maureen in last summer's adaptation of RENT at the Hollywood Bowl; will she next appear in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA or CATS?

Maybe not, but for Scherzinger it would be something she looks forward to. "If there's any way I can have a working and creative relationship with Andrew that would be my greatest honour," she tells the Mirror. "I can't say enough just how highly I regard Andrew Lloyd Webber. I met him and his wife recently and they are absolutely lovely. Andrew has changed the face of musical theatre. He is so witty on his shows, too, like Over The Rainbow...Andrew knows more than anybody what he is talking about, so we should all listen to him."

Amidst her enthusiastic talk of Webber, Scherzinger also compared theatre to the X-Factor, for which rumor is she's being considered as a judge. "For X Factor, I think the intention to win is to become famous," she said, "Whereas for theatre it's a more rewarding prize."

Though it remains to be seen if Scherzinger will take to the stage again, it wouldn't be just an encore to her Hollywood Bowl experience: "I did Chicago before the Pussycat Dolls, so musical theatre is where it all began for me."
