Do you know something? I'm actually very excited about John Barrowman taking over as Albin in La Cage Aux Folles. Anyway, he's got all sorts of merchandise coming out before Christmas, and the track listing for his new DVD has been announced.

Zombies make their way to the London fringe this autumn, with Zombie Prom opening at the Landor in October. It's an off-Broadway cult hit getting its UK premiere, so may well be worth a look.

Dame Judi Dench returns to the role of Titania, queen of the fairies, in The Rose's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream next year. It should be a more entertaining night out than the Donmar West End's version of Madame De Sade, anyway.

Fresh from her success on Broadway with The Norman Conquests, Jessica Stevenson aka Jessica Hynes is back in London and ready to take on the Royal Court. She's been cast in The Priory, opening in November.

Looking for something a bit different to see this week? Try The Office: The Opera, at PROUD Galleries in Camden on Wednesday night. I've seen some of the rehearsal and it's looking good - and I can guarantee that you'll be able to spot West End stars in the audience...

Still want more? Here's our interview with Craig Chalmers, the touring Joseph; and we've got a bumper crop of Edinburgh news that you might want to catch up on - Clare Maddox refuses to be poked by Facebook The Musical, RoBert Gould wants to share Have A Nice Life with the group, and I lobby for a revival of Baby - no episiotomies.

Look out this week for interviews with Hairspray's Chloe Hart, the cast and crew of fringe hit Showstopper: The Improvised Musical, hot news about an autumn West End opening, and our continuing fabulous Edinburgh coverage!
