Movin' Out Heads Confirmed For Limited UK Run In 2006

MOVIN' OUT recently joined the pantheon of great Broadway dance musicals when it surpassed the runs of CONTACT (1010 performances), FOSSE (1093 performances) and BRING IN 'DA NOISE/BRING IN 'DA FUNK (1135 performances). Currently in its third year on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street), MOVIN'OUT opened on Thursday, October 24, 2002 to overwhelming critical and popular acclaim. The national tour of MOVIN' OUT continues its record-breaking run across the country (schedule available at www.movinoutonbroadway.com).
MOVIN' OUT is presented by James L. Nederlander, Hal Luftig, Scott E. Nederlander, Terry Allen Kramer, Clear Channel Entertainment and Emanuel Azenberg.
MOVIN' OUT currently stars its original Tony Award nominees John Selya, Elizabeth Parkinson, Keith Roberts, Ashley Tuttle, Tony Award winner Scott Wise, Benjamin G. Bowman, and Tony nominee Michael Cavanaugh.
MOVIN' OUT received two 2003 Tony Awards - one for Ms. Tharp (Best Choreography) and one for Mr. Joel (Best Orchestrations - with Stuart Malina). MOVIN' OUT received a total of ten 2003 Tony Award nominations (other nominations included Best Musical, Best Director, Best Lighting Design, Best Actor in a Musical for John Selya, Best Actress in a Musical for Elizabeth Parkinson, Best Featured Actor in a Musical for Keith Roberts, Best Featured Actress in a Musical for Ashley Tuttle, and Best Featured Actor in a Musical for Michael Cavanaugh).
The performance schedule for MOVIN' OUT at Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street) is currently Monday through Saturday evenings at 8PM, with matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2PM. Starting September 6, 2005 the show will play Tuesday through Saturday at evenings at 8PM, with matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2PM and Sunday at 3PM.
