MasterChef Finalist Presents Immersive Experience JOURNEY TO THE UNDERWORLD

There'll be no train delays at Pedley Street Station this September as brave Londoners are invited to sell their soul for a Journey To The Underworld aboard a luxury train carriage. Produced by immersive theatre and dining experts Funicular, guests are invited to experience the greatest love story never told where fear, fantasy, danger and lust intertwine in this dark and romantic fairytale.

As passengers embark on their journey to the Underworld, they will be treated to their last meal in paradise fit for the Prince of Darkness himself, curated by 2017 MasterChef The Professionals finalist Louisa Ellis. Guests will join Claude, the shackled conductor, and his lowly assistant Gordy, on a quest for absolution, redemption and eternal love that will take them all the way to the Underworld. Along the way, guests will do their best to outwit the seductive Gatekeeper, the hunched Harbinger, and the damnable Dark One, all the while praying that this isn't a one-way ticket.

For Journey To The Underworld, Funicular are summoning the otherworldy aid of renowned restaurateur and 2017 MasterChef The Professionals finalist Louisa Ellis. Known for her intense and creative flavours, this very special guest will be designing an imaginatively curated three-course menu fit for all dietary requirements that ties in with the theatrical narrative. Also on board are renowned actors James Hamer-Morton and Charlie Bond. With followings in the worlds of independent film and theatre, these lead actors will guide guests on their journey throughout the evening.

Funicular are a passionate collective of creators specialising in creating truly immersive experiences. Co-founded by entrepreneur, actor and scriptwriter Craig Wilkinson and production director Ed Borgnis, the Funicular team boasts years of experience bringing events and theatre to life all over the world. Their first experience within Pedley Street Station The Murdér Express, an immersive twist on a murder mystery set in the early 20th Century, saw sold out shows and rave reviews.
