Award winning singer Maria Friedman will honor the works of British composers with her show 'Maria Friedman CELEBRATES THE GREAT BRITISH SONGBOOK' at the Shaw Theater. Her performances will take place February 5-7th.

Maria Friedman is the 3 time Olivier award winning and 7 time nominated star of The Woman In White, Chicago, Passion, The Witches Of Eastwick, Merrily We Roll Along, Ragtime, Lady In The Dark, Sunday In The Park With George and Blues In The Night. Her gift for interpretation has been demonstrated in the celebrated Maria Friedman By Special Arrangement (Donmar), Maria Friedman By Extra Special Arrangement (Whitehall), Maria Friedman Re-Arranged (Chocolate Menier) and her residency at New York's Cafe Carlyle.

The Great British Songbook celebrates the work of many of our leading composers and lyricists including Noel Coward, Lionel Bart, Anthony Newley, Leslie Bricusse, John Barry, Don Black, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Tim Rice and Elton John.

Join Maria and her band for an evening of classic British song, rare gems and new writing.
