This year, for the first time ever, the BBC will work with Manchester International Festival to bring audiences world-class performances online using BBC Live - the online platform used by the BBC for its coverage of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and the General Election.

From 29 June to 16 July, audiences will be able to experience the festival live online, with livestreams of MIF productions, updates from behind the scenes at the festival expert opinion, the best of social media, imagery and highlight clips from across the festival, plus over 100 commissioned creative responses from #creative50, a community of emerging artists from Greater Manchester.

Head to mif.co.uk/live to experience the festival live online.
