Jason Robert Brown's Tony Award-winning 1998 musical, Parade, will make its London premiere this September at the Donmar Warehouse.  According to WhatsOnStage.com, Lara Pulver, who last appeared in the UK premiere of Brown's The Last 5 Years at The Menier Chocolate Factory, will star as Lucille Frank.

Parade, which won 1999 Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Original Musical Score, is based on the "seminal trial of Leo Frank in 1913 Atlanta, Georgia. The murder of a young girl ignites dormant prejudice as a media frenzy incites a community to revenge," according to the website.  Parade also won the Drama Desk and New York Critic's Circle Award for Best Musical.

Pulver has also starred in the West End production of Grease and the national tours of Chicago, Miss Saigon, The Boy Friend, High Society and Honk! No other casting has been announced.

Parade will play the Donmar Warehouse in the West End, Greater London.  Performances begin September 14 through November 24, 2007.  Rob Ashford (Guys and Dolls, Evita) makes his directorial debut.  The production features a book by Alfred Uhry, music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, designed by Christopher Oram, lighting by Neil Austin, musical direction by Thomas Murray.
