'Just a Rumor' Gets Staged Reading

Just a Rumor, by Gary Lyons and Doug DeVita, will get a rehearsed reading. The new play explores the nature of love, celebrity, gossip, truth, and how to get a dead movie star out of the kitchen. The cast includes Patricia Hodge, Stephanie Cole, Chris Biggins, Jenny Logan and Richard Cunningham. It is directed by Lyons. Stage directions will be read by Liza Keast.
The reading is taking place on Tuesday, April 22 at 2:45 pm at the Menier Chocolate Factory, and is open to the public.Just a Rumor was previously read in New York at the Abingdon Theatre Company, where the cast featured Tovah Feldshuh, Joy Franz, Jenny Galloway, Steve Hauck and Darrin Baker.
