The glittering evening, on Sunday 30 October, will feature an array of performances celebrating the last 40 years of NYMT, lots of surprise guests and items and some previews of what is to come. Tickets start at £15 with the majority at £40 - to mark the 40th anniversary year.

Jeremy James Taylor, NYMT Founder and Artistic Director (1976 - 2005) said: "Forty years have raced by. It's been a roller-coaster ride - but they say time flies when you're having fun!"

NYMT Producer Jeremy Walker added: "We may be playing an ENCORE but it's only just the beginning! We look forward to commissioning still more great new musicals and to nurturing the next generation of musical theatre talent."

The NYMT represents the very best in work with young people through musical theatre enabling thousands of youngsters across the UK to develop both their creative and personal potential, leading Andrew Lloyd Webber to dub it "the best youth music theatre in the world".
