Actor and singer Jack Shalloo is launching Show Off on Monday 19 March at the Waterloo East Theatre.

It's the first in what will become a regular event showcasing new, exciting writing talent in London.

The first line-up features the work of James Muller, David Proud and Duncan MacInnes, as well as a segment from the new musical London Time based around Shalloo's underground hit album London Soul written with Spesh Maloney.

Shalloo, who starred in Departure Lounge and Hamlet! The Musical, isn't finding it too difficult to adopt the necessary organisational skills - "I've always been quite an organised person," he admits - even though haggling costs and suchlike is an entirely new field for him.

He's very excited about the show, describing it as "epic" and promising an amazing evening of entertainment.
