"GOD OF CARNAGE", the new play by Yasmina Reza, which stars Ralph Fiennes, Tamsin Greig, Janet McTeer and Ken Stott, has paid back its entire £525,000 capitalization in a record-breaking six weeks. The play opened on 25 March at the Gielgud Theatre in London to rave reviews and public acclaim. "GOD OF CARNAGE", which is translated by Christopher Hampton, is directed by Matthew Warchus.
"GOD OF CARNAGE" will close in the West End at the end of its scheduled 14-week limited season on 14 June. Performance times are Mondays to Saturdays at 8.00pm, with Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 3.00pm.
"GOD OF CARNAGE", which is produced in the West End by David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers, will open on Broadway next season and then open in Australia in 2010.
