Clare Holman and Susannah Harker will star in Doris Lessing's EACH HIS OWN WILDERNESS at the Orange Tree Theatre in Surrey, running April 15 to May 16, 2015. Orange Tree's Paul Miller will direct.

The description on Orange Tree's website reads: "It's 1958. Tony, back from National Service disillusioned and dissatisfied, finds his mother still the political activist she's been since her youth. To Myra (Holman), Tony's attitude is a mystery -- where's the anger? Myra and her friend Milly's (Harker) restless Bohemianism leads them to a complex, erotic entanglement with the younger generation and exposes fault-lines in their own generation's complacency. They're about to learn that the personal is political. The first major production of a rare early play from novelist Doris Lessing, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature. Staged as a production-without-decor by John Dexter at the Royal Court, it was part of the first wave of the Look Back in Anger theatrical revolution."

Also in the cast are Rosie Holden as Rosemary, John Lightbody as Mike, Joel MacCormack as Tony, Roger Ringrose as Philip and Josh Taylor as Sandy.

On the production team are designer Tom Rogers, lighting designer Howard Hudson and sound designer Emma Laxton.
