CABARET will close in the West End on June 21st.  CABARET will become the third musical to announce its closing in the span of the past two weeks following "Gone With The Wind" and "Spamalot."

CABARET stars Amy Nuttall as Sally Bowles and Alistair McGowan as the Emcee, and tells the story of 1931 Berlin. Conceived in 1966, CABARET was the second collaboration between John Kander and Fred Ebb, and went on to be turned into an Oscar winning film.

This Rufus Norris-directed production opened in October 2006. Nominated for three Laurence Olivier Awards in 2007, CABARET left the ceremony with two statuettes; Best Theatre Choreographer for Javier De Frutos and Best Performance In A Supporting Role In A Musical for Sheila Hancock.

CABARET had been selling tickets until November 2008. No new production has been announced for the Lyric.
