The 2023 Edinburgh Festivals come to a close
BroadwayWorld are delighted to publish the final reviews of their coverage from the 2023 Edinburgh Festivals. Covering 292 shows with thirteen local reviewers, this was our busiest and best year yet. From the shows covered, we awarded 54 five-star reviews and 123 four-star reviews to artists from around the world. You can check out all of our reviews from the Fringe here.
Alongside the theatre, musicals, comedy, circus, dance and immersive experiences covered at the Fringe we were also present at the Edinburgh International Festival, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and Edinburgh International Book Festival.
With our coverage kicking off in late May, we produced numerous 'pick of the programme' articles, interviews and Q&As with artists and companies, introducing our audience to a taste of some of the productions that were to come throughout August. Our pre-festival coverage can be found here.
For an arts lover there is nowhere in the world quite like Edinburgh in August and we are excited to continue providing extensive coverage of the festivals.
