Michael Ball is part of the new season of Celebrity Charity Spamalot Gods, appearing in 2D as part of the performance as God to provide King Arthur (Les Dennis) and his Knights of the Round Table their Quest to find the Holy Grail.

Ball is best known for musical theatre roles such as Marius in LES MISERABLES (which he originated in the London production), Alex in Aspects of Love, Caractacus Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Edna Turnblad in Hairspray for which he won the 2008 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical. He most recently played the role of Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at the Adelphi Theatre in the West End which earned him another Olivier award in 2013. He recently recorded his new solo album, Both Sides Now, which was released earlier this year.
