The Fat & Greasy Citizens Brigade (FGC), a Washington DC based theatre company in their 7th year, returns this June with FREE outdoor Shakespeare in Georgetown. Presenting William Shakespeares TAMING OF THE SHREW. The play original written between 1590 and 1592 will play on the grounds of Georgetowns, Grace Episcopal Church (1041 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC 20007) Thursday through Saturday June 13th to 29th nightly at 8pm, gates open at 7pm. Audience members are encouraged to bring a blanket and pack a picnic to enjoy before a free performance under the stars. Yummy treats are available for purchase on site, as well as official FGC swag. In the instance of inclement weather the performance will move into the church Sanctuary.
