The National Chamber Ensemble opens its 2025–2026 season with Parisian Dreams: Ravel and Saint-Saëns, an evening showcasing the charm of turn-of-the-century Paris through a selection of orchestral works. Featured are pieces by Maurice Ravel, including the Habanera and Alborada del gracioso, alongside Camille Saint-Saëns' Piano Quartet in B-flat Major. The concert also highlights Cécile Chaminade's lively Rondeau, honoring her legacy as the first woman composer to receive the Legion d'Honneur. The performance features acclaimed musicians including pianist Carlos César Rodríguez and violinist Leo Sushansky, who serves as the ensemble's artistic director.
