Legally Blonde at Osbourn High School

Presented by ARTfactory's Pied Piper Theatre, Legally Blonde is a vibrant and energetic stage adaptation of the 2001 film Legally Blonde, which was based on the novel by Amanda Brown. The musical, with a book by Heather Hach, music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin, premiered on Broadway in 2007.

The story follows Elle Woods, a bubbly and fashion-conscious sorority girl who is heartbroken when her boyfriend, Warner, breaks up with her to attend Harvard Law School. Determined to win him back, Elle decides to enroll at Harvard herself, despite everyone believing she's not "serious" enough for law school.

As Elle navigates the challenging world of law school, she faces obstacles but also discovers her own potential, breaking stereotypes and proving that there's more to her than her appearance and social status. Along the way, she builds strong friendships and even falls in love with another student, Emmett, who appreciates her intelligence and drive.

The musical features catchy songs, humorous moments, and plenty of heart. Themes of self-discovery, empowerment, and breaking barriers are central to the story.
