The festival's Labor Day weekend celebration features KES, Emmet Cohen's Miles/Trane Project, Nate Smith, Ekep Nkwelle, the Orrin Evans Trio featuring Lisa Fischer, Bill Frisell Trio, and Isaiah Collier's Collier Plays Coltrane. Additional performances at Union Stage include Pureum Jin & The Empress, Next Jazz Legacy, Brandon Woody's Upendo, and Muneer Nasser, alongside the DC JazzPrix Finals with the Amina Scott Quintet, Bokani Dyer Trio, James Fernando Trio, and Luther S. Allison & Poiesis. At Arena Stage, the Tommy Cecil Trio, Janelle Gill with special guest Amina Claudine Myers, and the Dee Dee Bridgewater Quartet perform We Exist. Pearl Street Warehouse hosts the Jose Andre Quartet, Hannah Marks, Kenny Rittenhouse, Sakobi, Fran Vielma & Venezuelan Jazz Collective, and Son Cubano Subterraneo.
