Join us for stand up meets improv featuring special guest Ace Jackson! Get ready to toss the rulebook out the window with Calamity: The Show, where improv, sketch, and stand-up comedy are remixed into a one-of-a-kind night out. Brace yourself for an evening of unscripted escapades, where our performers thrive on your ideas. It’s a night where taboos are shattered, no topic is off-limits, and worries take a back seat. Ye be warned, Calamity is armed with puns sharper than a ninja’s sword and jokes so cheesy, they should come with a warning for the lactose intolerant. The evening’s events are chosen at random each night and our rotating cast of 16 actors ensures that you’ll never see the same show twice. Dark Horse Theatre Company proudly presents Calamity: The Show, unbridled comedy for ages 16 and up.

Special Guest: Ace Jackson, born and raised in the DMV area, has a unique perspective on life. Probably because he almost lost his life several times. Reserved in public but lively on the mic, Ace is not afraid to address any elephant in the room, or to say whatever is on his mind. He shares his upbringing and uses the stage as a hilarious therapy session sure to leave you laughing and thinking. Ace has performed at the DC Improv and Church of Satire Comedy Club and ABC Good Morning Washington.

Concessions and drinks will be available before and after the show, as well as during a brief intermission.
