Altars of Inheritance: The Kickoff is a free Constellation Event presented in partnership with The Inheritance Room at Chela Mitchell Gallery. Led by Hollis Heath of The Inheritance Room and public historian Ori Yarborough, the gathering invites attendees to reflect on queer lineage and the ways these histories live in bodies, stories, objects, and rituals. Participants are invited to contribute to a living altar honoring memory, personal history, chosen family, and the legacies that shape us—with collective offerings serving as the foundation of a living archive that will travel throughout the city as part of Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company's production A Fine Madness.
