THE METROMANIACS, the sparkling new comedy by David Ives playing at the Lansburgh Theater, has added performances, extending the run through March 15, 2015.

Seven new performances have been added to accomodate ticket sales of this farcical look at romance among young and old Parisians who are obsessed with verse and poetry, hence the title THE METROMANIACS. David Ives adapted the play from the original by Alexis Piron. THE METROMANIACS marks the third collaboration between Ives and Shakespeare Theatre Company artistic director Michael Kahn.

As stated in my review (click HERE for the full view), "THE METROMANIACS glitters with literary references, up-to-the-minute pop culture allusions and topical humor. These ingredients mingle with the silliest of comic plot lines for a delicious confection."
