Round House Theatre wants to make attending its productions an integral part of a Montgomery County education. To that end, Round House is launching a new program during the 2013/14 season: Play It Forward. Under this new initiative, the company is setting aside free tickets to regularly scheduled Round House performances for High School Seniors in Montgomery County Public Schools.

"We are immensely grateful to the many donors who have helped us launch this new program aimed at fostering the next generation of theatergoers," said Round House Theatre Producing Artistic Director Ryan Rilette. "We already have more than 2,000 free tickets underwritten, and hope to eventually be able to offer all 11,000 high school seniors in Montgomery County with a free ticket to one of our shows."

In Play It Forward, Seniors in a Montgomery County Public High School can reserve a free ticket to the performance of their choice during the 2013/14 Round House season. Here's how it works:

One free ticket per season per High School Senior in a Montgomery County Public School. Offer valid at Round House Theatre Bethesda. Play It Forward tickets may be reserved calling 240.644.1100 or in person at the RHT Bethesda box office. Valid High School ID from a Montgomery County Public School must be presented at the Round House box office when the performance ticket is picked up. Parents or adults wishing to attend with the Play It Forward student - as well as other students not eligible for Play It Forward - can purchase full price single tickets at a $5 per ticket discount. Please call or visit the Round House Theatre box office.
