POTTED POTTER Returns To D.C. To Entertain The District's Muggles, Witches And Wizards

Potted Potter, The Unauthorized Harry Experience - A Parody by Dan and Jeff will return to Shakespeare Theatre Company to entertain the District's witches, wizards and muggles. The New York and West End smash hit will play at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW) from April 3 through April 15, 2018.

Created by actors Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, the Olivier Award-nominated show takes on the ultimate challenge of condensing all seven Harry Potter books and a real life game of Quidditch into 70 hilarious minutes. It features all the leading characters, a special appearance from a fire-breathing dragon, endless costume changes, fantastic songs, ridiculous props and a generous helping of Hogwarts magic!

This fantastically funny show has played to sold-out houses all over the world, garnered rave reviews and been awarded the Critics' Picks from the New York Times, New York Magazine, Time Out London, Boston Globe, Chicago Daily Herald and the New York Post. Even if you don't know the difference between a Horcrux and a Hufflepuff, Potted Potter will make you roar with laughter and is the perfect family fun for all ages.

"We're delighted to welcome back Potted Potter for the third time following its successful run on our stage in 2013 and 2015," said Shaun Hart, STC Director of Bookings and Partnerships. "Irrespective of their house at Hogwarts the show was a huge hit with people of all ages and wizarding abilities. We're curious to see what magic, wizardry and witchcraft will be conjured up this time."

Potted Potter runs April 3-15 at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW). Tickets are now on sale priced $59-95 with discount pricing for groups of 10 or more. To purchase tickets or to learn more, patrons can call the box office at 202.547.1122 or visit ShakespeareTheatre.org/events/potted-potter/
