GALACTIC CIGARETTES Sells Out in Virginia

Today, maXam Production Group announced that the performances for GALACTIC CIGARETTES PRESENTS: IT'S YOUR WORLD have been sold out. The musical is scheduled for March 9th and 11th, 2012 at 1st stage in Tyson's Corner, Virginia.

"We believe that this is an excellent start for our musical," says Producer Adam B. Levowitz, "and we are excited about the support we have received from the local community." In addition to the sold out status, also announced is a waitlist of over 80 tickets. "There has been a lot of excitement and social media buzz about the musical," says Alexander Lovell, Social Media Manager, "and our Facebook app that supports ticket reservations has been the preferred method of our fan base for securing tickets."

Galactic Cigarettes Presents: It's Your World is one part satirical comedy and one part moral dilemma, following the lives of two regular Americans as they get the opportunity to participate in a game show where the prize is an unbelievable $100,000. The two main characters, a school teacher recently returned from Korea and a shy girl from a Manhattan typing pool, are given fame and the possibility of fortune when they become the newest contestants on Galactic Cigarettes Presents It's Your World! And just when the audience thinks everything might just be as squeaky clean as this depiction of the nostalgic era of 1950s America, the characters learn that things are not as they seem.

According to press notes: "Audiences will experience catchy songs, 50s commercial spoofs, and a world that is every bit as hip as one can imagine it was. The moral dilemma serves to make this satirical comedy more endearing rather than tarnish the 1950s charm. A must see for anyone who wants to be transported to another time, even for just an evening."

maXam Production Group has also arranged for a fixed price dinner before the reading. This partnership is with Clyde's of Tyson's Corner. "Everything has been pre-arranged so that when our guests arrive at Clyde's, they get a true New York theater experience," remarks Adam B. Levowitz, "perfectly timed to allow guests to enjoy their meal, and still arrive at the show on time."

Clyde's of Tyson's Corner opened in 1980 and features four main-level dining rooms and a private event room.
