Corny Collins and the Nicest Kids in Town come home (Again!) to Baltimore's Hippodrome Theatre for one week in Hairspray, beginning Tuesday, October 16th.   

The Prize:

One of five pairs of tickets to the Opening Night of Hairspray on Tuesday, October 16th at the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore.  Curtain is at 8PM.

 

The Rules:

  • Answer the 10 questions below and send your answers via email to jameshoward@broadwayworld.com.  Please put HAIRSPRAY CONTEST in the subject heading.  Also, include your full name, age and city and state.
  • Entries must be received no later than noon on Wednesday, October 10th.
  • One entry per person.

The Contest: 

In all three versions of John Waters' Hairspray, Edna Turnblad has been played by a man.  This gender-bending phenomenon actually dates back to ancient times when only men were allowed to be actors.  Several Broadway shows feature boys playing girls and girls playing boys.  Match each description below with the title of the show that features this device.
