THE CONTEST:

Little Shop of Horrors, currently wowing audiences at Toby's Dinner Theatre of Columbia, features a buffet dinner, and a man-eating plant.  With all that digestion going on, what better way to win tickets than to name dishes after Broadway shows?  Toby's Dinner Theatres feature show inspired entrees, and here are a few for her and her chefs to consider!  Read each named "dish" and name the show which inspired it.  For example, "Elle's Blondies a la mode" would be inspired by Legally Blonde – Elle is a character in the show, and Blondie is a clue.  Get it?  Just name the show!  (HINT: One show is used more than once.)  Good luck!

Brunch:

1.  Rod's Canadian Bacon and Egg Quiche (Even his "girlfriend" will love it!) AVENUE Q

Appetizers:

2.  Elphaba's Elixir Green Guacamole Dip (No worries!  Only your tongue will be "greenified"!) WICKED

3.  "Roxy Hart"s of Lettuce Salad (A windy city favorite!) CHICAGO

4.  Mimi's Alphabet City Soup (Bohemians love this stuff!) RENT OR LA BOHEME

Entrees:

5.  The Three Kates Irish Stew (It'll "sink" to the bottom of your tummy!) TITANIC: THE MUSICAL

6.  Freddie's "Great Big Stuff"ed Shells (It'd be a "Rotten" shame to miss this dish!) DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS

7.  Nellie Lovett's Shepherd's Pie (Peppered with actual Shepherd on top!) SWEENEY TODD

8.  Penny Pingleton's "Checker Board Chick"en (with sweet berry juice glaze!) HAIRSPRAY

9.  "Miss Baltimore Crabs" Cakes (A hometown delicacy!) HAIRSPRAY

10.  Miss Mona's "Hard Candy"ed Yams  (The guys sure love 'em down in Texas!) THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS

Remember!  All entries due by noon on Monday, August 6th!

Can you think of any more Broadway inspired entrees for Toby's buffet?  Add them to the bottom of your entry!

There is also a half-price offer for BroadwayWorld.com readers for select performances of Little Shop of Horrors, too!  See the Charm City Call Board for August for details!
