More than 40 juried jewelry designers and artisans will offer a wide variety of quality, hand-crafted jewelry at the McLean Community Center's 4th Annual McLean Jewelry Showcase. The show will be held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5.

New artists participating in this year's show include Branch York Design of Midlothian Va. (www.branch-york-design.com). Working with a variety of materials, these two artisans combine unusual textures and techniques to create sophisticated wearable art. The Silver Grouper (www.thesilvergrouper.com), is the name of Virginia-based artist Anita Whitney, who works with diverse mediums and specializes in gold, silver and platinum jewelry. Maryland-based jewelry designer Stacy Krantz, owner of In Bloom Jewelry (http://inbloomjewelry.myshopify.com), uses her experiences in Gabon and New Mexico and her sensitivity to the natural world to inspire the shape, line, form and function of her jewelry designs. Self-taught jeweler Rona Fisher (www.ronafisher.com) has been a juried member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen since 1993. Her collection includes rings, bracelets, necklaces, pendants, and earrings crafted in sterling silver and 14-karat gold combinations, and in all gold.

Shoppers of all ages, and all budgets, can find something to love at the showcase. In addition, many of the artisans participating in the show will take custom orders.

Admission is $3 per person. The Center is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue., McLean, VA 22101.
