ShenanArts and The Shenandoah Valley Regional Governor's School present Anon(ymous) and A Still Life with Iris at ShenanArts at The nTelos Theatre, running tonight, January 17th - 20th, 2013.

Anon(ymous). Separated from his mother, a young refugee called Anon journeys through the United States, encountering a wide variety of people -- some kind, some dangerous and cruel -- as he searches for his family. From a sinister one-eyed butcher to beguiling barflies to a sweatshop, Anon must navigate through a chaotic, ever-changing landscape in this modern adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey.

This show runs tonight, January 17th & Saturday January 19th at 7:00 pm.

A Still Life with Iris. The residents of the magical land of Nocturno work through the night to create all the wonderful things we enjoy in our world by day. In Nocturno, one's memories and past are held not in the mind, but in one's coat. When a little girl named Iris has her PastCoat taken away, she must embark on a quest to find her true home and reclaim her identity. At the same time, she faces off against the rulers of Nocturno to challenge the ideal of perfection. This fantastical adventure is recommended for children ages eight and up.

This show runs Friday January 18th at 7:00 pm & Sunday January 20th at 3:00 pm

Tickets are $10 for one show, or $15 for a two show package deal. Tickets are available in the box office during operating hours, or on the website: www.shenanarts.org.
