'LADY DAY' & More Set for Dorset Theatre Festival's Summer 2016 Season

Middlebury Community Players to Present BLACK COMEDY, THE REAL INSPECTOR HOUND

Brighten the gloom and cold of February by going to see two of the funniest one-act comedies ever written! Middlebury Community Players presents Peter Shaffer's Black Comedy and Tom Stoppard's The Real Inspector Hound at the Town Hall Theater, Middlebury, Vermont from February 11 to 14. Thursday through Saturday shows are at 8:00, with a 2:00 matinee on Sunday the 14th. THT's education program is celebrating its 5th year of success with a musical tribute to lyricist Johnny Mercer called He Wrote That Too, a reference to the extraordinary amount of famous songs Mercer wrote. THT's students, teachers and friends will present an evening of songs you didn't know you know Friday and Saturday November 13 & 14 at 7pm. Johnny is the writer behind smash hits 'Moon River', 'That Old Black Magic' 'You Must've Been a Beautiful Baby', 'Hooray for Hollywood' and many, many more. Mercer has won 4 Academy Awards, was the founder of Capitol Records, and wrote the lyrics to over 1,000 songs.
