World Premiere of DOUBLEWIDE to be Performed at Vermont Stage Seven Days, Vermont's Independent Voice, reports that Vermont Stage will host the world premiere of Stephen Spotswood's new play DOUBLEWIDE, running January 24th - February 11th. DOUBLEWIDE has been picked up by the National New Play Network, an organization that aims to help new plays gain visibility by promising a given play that their work will be picked up by at least three participating theaters in the span of the year. DOUBLEWIDE will be produced first in Vermont, before later being staged by theaters in Florida and Michigan.

A warm, touching comedy, DOUBLEWIDE tells the story of one family's American Dream: to build a home on the acre of land they own, even when external forces try to make that impossible.

The Cast features the talents of Chris Caswell (Sharon), Robert Grimm (Chuck), Jordan Gullikson (Big Jim), Rebecca Hoodwin (Coral) and Mary Krantz (Lorelai).

The Production Team: Jeff Modereger (Scenic Designer), John B. Forbes (Lighting Designer), Suzanne Kneller (Costume Designer), Martha Goode (Sound Designer), F. Patrick Orr (Technical Director) and CJ Holcomb (Production Stage Manager).
