Actor’s Express Launches New Podcast Series THEATRE PEOPLE

Actor's Express has announced the launch of THEATRE PEOPLE, a new weekly podcast series exploring the artists and stories shaping Atlanta theatre.

Hosted by Sarah Velasco and produced by Actor’s Express, the podcast will feature conversations with artists whose work has influenced Atlanta’s stages and creative communities across multiple generations.

According to the company, THEATRE PEOPLE aims to highlight both the history and ongoing evolution of Atlanta theatre through interviews with performers, directors, playwrights, designers, educators, and arts administrators.

“Theatre People is a show that dives into the beating heart of the Atlanta theatre community,” the company said in a statement. “Each week, we sit down with the artists who have shaped the work we see on this city's stages and the conversations that echo far beyond them.”

The series also examines the role theatre plays within Atlanta’s broader cultural identity and community life.
