That's an easy one for me because my first dance with Jace at our wedding was "They Were You" from The Fantasticks. Jace had our friends record a version for us to play that day - Sherie Rene Scott and Toby Parker (Two of Broadway's finest and two amazing friends) sang a gorgeous rendition for our Big Day. It was a song that J and I sang to one another during our bi-coastal courtship. "All my wildest dreams multiplied by two - they were you they were you... they were you!" Happy Valentine's Day!

Since I’m single for once again another year! My pick for my favorite Broadway valentines song is: “Someday My Prince Will Come.” I truly feel 2019 will be my year!

It feels impossible to just pick one, but I have always loved “Till There Was You” from Music Man. I love how it acknowledges that these beautiful things were always present, but their love only enhanced their experience of it all. A close second is “Love to Me” from Light in the Piazza. So simple and melodious.

My favorite Broadway love song? That's a tough question. I guess I'll pick "All The Wasted Time" from PARADE because that is one of my all time fave musicals. It's not a typical love song, but it's so moving when they finally realize their love for each other. Just beautiful.

I promise it's absolutely not because I am currently in this show but I completely adore the song "What About Love"! The words are everything true love should be. "What about tears when I'm happy? What about wings when I fall? I want you to be a story me that I can believe in forever!" It's kind of perfect

My favorite Broadway love song of all time is "Sorry Grateful." It is simply the best song ever written about the truth of loving another.

I think it counts because of Movin' Out- I've always loved Billy Joel's "Just the Way You Are." Simply saying to be yourself because individual differences are what make people fall in love. My wife & I danced to this at our wedding and it still gets me every time

"My Heart Was Set on You", which is on Sutton Foster's WISH Album. It has been my favorite since I was little!

I think my favorites come from West Side Story. Almost classical in their composition.'Maria' is tops. That rush of new love and the name of the person who lit that fire "suddenly that name, will never be the same to me!" It is soaring and passionate, then quiet and simple. It says it all.

I'm gonna have to go with "Kiss the Girl" from The Little Mermaid. Ya know, Prince Eric and Ariel in the boat surrounded by flying glowing bugs under a big willow tree. I mean any song by Alan Menken. he pretty much shaped my entire childhood. The only unromantic thing about that song is that they don't get to kiss at the end! Flotsum and Jetsum... HAHA. But other than that, Sebastian can come on any of my dates with me...

"It all Fades Away" from The Bridges of Madison County will forever be the most beautiful love song to me. I’m embarrassed by how much I’ve listened to it. And that interlude into the bridge?! Brings me to tears EVERY time.

It's difficult to choose just one love song to be my favorite, but, if I must I would pick a little known song by Teddy Randazzo called, "All The Way Home". It is tender, romantic and heartfelt. I feel warm each time I hear it and sing it which is the main reason I put it on my new album, "The Look Of Love."

I guess my favorite love song probably would be "If I Loved You." I love the conceit of it because there's so much emotion, but I'm too scared to just say it outright, so I'm saying it as a conditional, if I loved you, this is what would happen. And that feels very beautiful to me.

I’d have to say “You Outta Be Here With Me” from Big River. My mom introduced me to this show when I was a kid, we would sing it from top to bottom for years. Anytime I miss my mom, a friend, or a lover, I go to this song to pull on my heart strings.

"’If I Loved You," from Carousel. It's such a tough love story, but that song is so clear and beautiful. It pops into my head all the time, whether I want it to or not. It sort of speaks perfectly to wanting to tell someone how you feel, and that moment right before you jump of the cliff. Gorgeous melody!

There are so many Broadway love songs that I love, but I have to especially suggest from GUYS AND DOLLS, "I've Never Been In Love Before." It was my favorite song when I played "Sky Masterson" for 6 months in Las Vegas (1977). I also love Barbra Streisand's recording of the same. It suggests love is fresh and new and intoxicating!

It is a tossup between Little Texas "My Love," Augustana's "Steal Your Heart" or Coldplay's "Fix You."

My favorite Broadway love song is "All I Ask of You." Mostly because it's a song about being a stalker and somehow, in the 80's, stalking was romantic.

Wolf Hall: Parts 1 and 2
Well this may be a perverse choice for a love song, but it'll break the mood of all the schmaltzy stuff! "I Do Not Love You" by Antony Newley and Leslie Bricusse from The Good Old Bad Old Days. I was amazed when I first heard it. I guess we could imagine Henry VIII singing it to Anne Boleyn?
